Deer Park Stags Baseball

to a new school year and the start of a new season!  It is fall and there are a few months before the upcoming baseball season. However, it is never too early to start gearing up for the 2010 season.  Fall ball leagues start this weekend so get on board with that.  It’s a great way to see some live pitching and get those arms back into shape.  Also, be on the look out for winter camp registrations to be up soon. 

 Have a great fall!  Having made the playoffs last year, there are some new expectations around Deer Park.  What you do now to prepare yourself will directly reflect on how the season goes.

Play Ball!!!

Will be next Thursday the 28th.  Players will come after school for our traditional/annual baseball olympics.  (Bring glove, bat, and clothes to compete in)  Pizza and Pop will be provided.  Parents arrive at the baseball field at 5:45 for presentation of Awards and Certificates.  Hope to see everybody there.  This will be a fun way to end a great season.

Congratulations guys.  With a couple other players coming 1 vote away it was a good year for the Stags!

Congratulations Stags!!!  With Medical Lake losing to Cheney today, the Stags have clinched a district playoff berth for the first time in seven years.  Now let’s keep rolling and get a few more wins and earn ourselves home field advantage.

Varsity: Chewelah @ DP Friday May 1,  3:30.

J.V. :  Dh @ Chewelah, 3:00.  Bus leaves at 1:30.

Our Pictures will be on Monday April 20th.  Order packets will be given out at practice the Friday before.  Make sure that uniforms are clean and that you have all of it.

Game time is 2:00.

Get out of school at 12:45.  Get out to the field ASAP.  We need to get it ready.

Wear Blue Jerseys.

Varsity will make up on Monday the 6th.  Practice from 9:45 - 11:30 Saturday morning.   We still have to come up with a make up day for JV.

The Varsity Cheney make up game will be on Wednesday April 8th at 4:00.

Monday:  J.V. - 3:00

Tuesday:  ?

Wednesday:  V and JV - 1:00   Work Party and BP   (bring clothes both for working and practice)

Thursday:  Varsity 10-12 JV canceled

Fri:  V and JV 12-2 Outside or DP Elementary depending on weather

Sat:  Games against Medical Lake…canceled.  Varsity Practice from 9:45- 11:30.

With no where to practice outside and no cage to hit in inside we are going to take the day off.  Rest and ice your arms today.  We will practice tomorrow no matter what.  Pitchers be ready to throw live if outside or a bullpen if inside.
