We will be working on decimals this week in math.

Trying to get a few last things in that students will need for 5th grade!  This is our last “normal” week….it’s five days long, with no trips etc.  Next week will be lots of fun activities:  a read-a-thon day, a math games day, plus a bowling fieldtrip.  It’s winding down!

Math homework will be the usual rows.

In reading, students are continuing with their choice novels, and meeting periodically with their groups to discuss the material read. Homework is the usual reading and recording on the blue sheets.

In writing this week we will be finishing up our poetry unit and putting our writing folders together.  Students should be bringing these folders for you to keep this week.

We will try our hands at building electromagnets in science today, and continue reading in our Horse’s Tale books for social studies.

Reminder:  Permission slips and money for the bowling field trip are due this week.
