Last math homework test today!

Students are crushed that today will be our last math homework test, as you can imagine! We will play math games after the test.

In reading we will continue with our choice novel work.  Homework is to just get our reading logs and assignment sheets signed.  Next week there will be no assignment sheets, reading logs, etc.

The schedule for next week:

Monday:  Camp READ… a celebration of reading where students rotate to different 4th grade classroom each period with a different emphasis (picture books, non-fiction, etc.)

Tuesday:  Bowling, followed by back at school activities, including a picnic lunch and cooperative games with the other 4th graders.

Wednesday: Math Camp.  Fourth grade teachers rotate and teach students math games.  Students will get to take a booklet of math games and a deck of cards home for the summer to help keep those math facts razor sharp.

Thursday:  Last reading discussion group, turning in novels, room cleaning, and a comparison of the book: Where The Red Fern Grows with the film version.  First half of the awards assembly that afternoon.

Friday:  Last part of the awards assembly,  saying goodbye!

I will really miss your children.  We have all grown together into family.
