Strong Kids
We had some strong kids in Science class today - they could lift Mr. Cushman WITH ONE HAND!! Of course they used a special simple machine called a lever. We will be studying levers, advantage, fulcrum, work, and load, the vocabulary terms we used today throughout this unit. If you’ve read this and give me the definition of lever before school tomorrow I have two coupons for you!
In Math we completed MA1a - WS6.1 in class and talked a bit about place value. Keep practicing your flashcards!
In Reading you completed a journal entry giving a character trait for each of five characters from Bridge to Terabithia. Keep reading your novels and completing your book reviews.
Open House is Thursday, September 11th. The barbecue begins at 6:00 and the open house begins in the gym at 7:00. See you and your parents there
