Investigating Acids
Today in Science we looked at a 50-50 mix of vinegar and water to see how much carbon dioxide was produced. We’ve determined that we can use baking soda as an indicator of acid being present in foods, and that the amount of gas produced tells us something about the concentration of the acid. We will test more foods tomorrow.
In Math, Mrs. VanderMay taught you a lesson on integers. Your assignment was MA11 - Practice worksheet 2-9.
In Reading we discussed the questions from The Gold Cadillac and you did the Scholastic News about the Great Depression. We’ll correct your answer sheets tomorrow.
Book orders are due Thursday.
