About Me
Here’s a little about me…
I absolutely love what I do!! I started my path toward teaching when I was in 2nd grade and joined a Future Teacher’s Club. I’ve been doing it professionally since 1975 when I graduated from the University of Michigan. I’ve taught 3rd-graders in Michigan, 2nd-graders in Idaho, and this begins my twenty-fourth year with 6th-graders here in Deer Park. Wow, I’m old!! Or as many of my recent students will tell you…as old as dirt!
Yes, Mr. Largent, teacher-coach-athletic director, is my husband (sometimes it takes some of our students a few months to figure that out!) and between us we have 8 children, 5 children-in-law, and 9 grandchildren.
